Nicolas Derrick Foundation

Nicolas Derrick Foundation is an organization founded in 2008 named after Nicolas Michael Derrick, son of our very own Michele Farfan-Hodge. He was an extraordinary teen that tragically lost his life in April 2008 a week after his 17th birthday in an accidental drowning.

This foundation is proud to award scholarships to teens that are going to attend college to study any area in the arts. Currently we are a local group and hope to become national in the future. Students in Seminole County Florida are eligible to apply if they are in their senior year of High School or in their freshman year of college. Since this is our first year we are asking the community to donate generously and help us give deserving teens help with school related financial help.

thesilverseniors group in facebook

Dear Silver Seniors,

We have decided to slowly migrating thesilverseniors site to facebook. The old site served its purpose well for the 20th reunion, but it requires too many man hours to keep you entertained and updated. Facebook is the new popular interfacing tool that's free for all. Its open forum style makes it maintenance free. Any member can start discussions, post announcements or make shout out on "The Wall". Now that the flood gate is open, don't jump in all at once!
